I so enjoy your fishing videos. I can't get enough of them. I feel like I'm right there with you fishing and when you hook onto a fish my heart is beating and I become anxious about what the fish is and can you land it and not lose it. Mobile Alabama is a 16 hour drive from where I live up North. This channel has convinced me that Mobile is going to be the destination of my next fishing trip. I especially like the idea of the restaurants down there that will cook your catch.

Always loved fishing in the GOM You never know what you'll be hooking into. Yeah, it is for sure hot hot hot at times. Miles of reflective surface everywhere. There's times it's like sticking your head in the oven to check the biscuits, but there's no door to close.

I have never fished off shore only inshore and in rivers and bays along the Mississippi Coast. It does look quiet and peaceful, the clarity of the water was evident when you released that snapper. I really enjoyed this video, thank you. Stay safe and tight lines.

just some friendly advice,...so if you want to get the bigger ones; on your first drop go all the way to the bottom and count how long it takes to get there say a 20 count and the on your second drop stop at 15 cause the bigger ones are up off of the bottom,...good luck. ROLL TIDE!!!

Getcha a couple of sticks of foam Pipe insulation and put on your rail where your fishing at.... That's an old school trick for us old salty dogs....so we can use the rail instead of our wore out backs... RTR

I always carry a ziploc bag to put my GoPro in and submerge it in ice while I'm out. 5 minutes in ice will buy alot of time when dealing with our Gulf heat.

If you need a left hand conventional that's compact and powerful to ease some strain on the hand look into siegler reels. Made by hand in virginia. They make most everything in left hand as well as right

Fun stuff. At 2:38 and 3:42 , it looked like some remora had found your boat as cover and came out to investigate. Love those tripletail. Small juveniles would sometimes wash into Boca Inlet with the sargassum and they'd look like yellow or brown leaves.

I enjoy using a 2/0 circle for light tackle and a 6/0 - 7/0 circle for heavy tackle

If you do not use a braid to leader set up, what knot do you use to tie braid direct to the lure or hook?
