Try waiting a short second longer before setting the hook with that frog, i know it’s exciting but a lot of times they just have the legs and not the whole frog. Love the videos man

Love your videos. Try adding a 10 foot monofilament leader for the for the frog. Gives a little stretch and will increase your hookup. No stretch on that braid.

DISSOLVED OXYGEN LEVELS, Catfish can live in very low oxygen levels, they did in the catfish farms anyhow, guys that were raising stripe bass it was worst on them, the Roanoke has catfish floating a lot also, no flow can lower the DO also.

Yep it gets terrible when it doesn't rain. Someone checked the oxygen levels this summer and they were crazy low

Do you like fishing a shakey head on a spinning setup better? I usually use a baitcaster for that.

Personally I throw a shakey head on a spinning rod 80% of the time. Occasionally I will throw it on a baitcaster if I am fishing around decent cover
