I’m no expert James but I watch a lot of other guys and they all seem to fish the shoreline rather than in the middle. Maybe throw some casts under some of those trees by the shore. Awesome video, that trout was a sweet catch!

Lol its funny you mentioned that, because i finally figured that out on my last day of fishing🤦 you'll see in my next video. At least i learned a lot for next year. I always appreciate the comments and hope for tight lines soon with spring around the corner!

how did you like that rod from tackle direct ? Thinking of buying the combo fro tackle direct
@jamesschlickoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Im really happy with this rod, sensitive yet plenty of backbone to it. Quality setup for the price. I'd definitely recommend.

Hi I’m considering to buy this rod in MH for striper fishing. What is the max weight that it can handle comfortably? Can you power cast 1.5oz lures?
@jamesschlickoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
This rod is rated 1.25oz max lure weight but i felt like 1oz was the heaviest with it still feeling comfortable. Its still a great rod for the price!
