That’s why Japanese pay so much attention to their footwear, using spikes rock cleats. Speak to Daiwa they will hook you up with the correct wading boots with felt and cleats.

The stripy fish is a trumpeter perch I believe same as the Australian ones but bigger and the cod is a hexagonal grouper. Caught heaps in the cool islands and it looks the same
