Fishing an Early Morning at Walmer Castle, Deal, Kent. 4K

I didn't managaed to get my mid week fishing trip in this week so I decided to get up with the sun and head to a new venue in search of fish. I headed towards Walmer, near Deal on the Eastern coast of Kent. I don't hear or see a lot about this area and I wanted to give it a try myself. I got to the beach just after high tide but just in time for the high fish activity over the sun rise. Bites were immediate and I couldn't even get two rods in the water at first! Eventually I did get fishing properly and after a disaster with my intro video clip and a couple of crack offs whilst casting it ended up being a very enjoyable session. This video has a lot of helpful and useful advice on baiting up, rigs and tackle used to target fish around the Kent coast.

Thanks for taking us on another trip. Many happy memories from Deal/Walmer as our parents always took us on holiday there 60 years ago, spent hours watching the fisherman on Deal Pier, and playing in the sand dunes on the golf course, and sitting outside the pub in Dads Old Ford Anglia with a lemonade and bag of crisps ! Very happy days, thanks for taking us back, and hope Whitfield Juniors win their match 👍

Nice video mate hate that gut wrenching feeling when you lose a fish trip was not wasted thoe and you still had some action just got back from a freshwater fishing sesh at belhus woods country park caught a few rudd didn't catch anything on the big rod which was out for bream or carp tight lines mate

I think the fishermen down the beach had done an all nighters when I turned up. They went quite soon after. Very comfortable spot to do it🎣

I fished a competition at Deal 2 weeks ago. 2 dogs 54 and 56 CM but i had a massive bite on a whole fish bait. Reeled it in and the fish had been bitten in half. Lord knows what that was. Got 4 in the comp so happy with that.

Mate what's that clip thing you use on the front of your reel on your Cross Power rod at 9:45 , that helps you cast your line?

So in this video I used a AFAW 6 and bait 14ft matched with a shimano ultegra reel. And a cinnetic cross power heavy rod with a cinnetic cyclone reel
