Nice catch and nice release my old man always said eat a few legal size and let the bigger ones go since they are matured already produce more tight lines 🤙🤙
@RAHfishing5 жыл бұрын
Yes. I rather keep the just legal size than the big ones. I read Omilu don't become mature to breed until roughly 13"
@alohilani065 жыл бұрын
Reel Adventures Hawaii true I notice that in other island I.e Samoa Tonga guam they take the legal size and make sure the big one populate for generations to come kind of wish Hawaii would put out a specific limit I.e 10 to 18 inches can harvest and 45 inches to 55 inches and the rest catch and release just due to the fact that we have a lot of different race on the island something to that nature

Solid action! Any issues with the fl? I have the fj and caught one 13 lb omilu. I then bought the fk when was new and on the second outing it comes to a point where the bail cant clear the spool. No issues like that with your fl? Also hows your rod? I use a tica and it really has no back bone to control the fish and the end.

@uluasoup125 жыл бұрын
Nice one mai braddah just subbed ...next time you fish with that setup with live Oama instead of letting the oama sit try doing a super slow retrieve on it For me it’s a better feel when a predator smashes your live bait.

The trips I would go with him, we would be tagging and releasing around 20 papios in a trip. Good size ones too! Nick also helped me catch my first ahi and marlin too.
