Mijo, the reason your fish were getting away was because your picking your rod tip up. Thats a big no no! Always remember to set your hook then point your rod tip down. Useful advice from your tio Henry! 👍

Check your hooks dude, they probably need sharpening. And set that hook a second time after the fish hits.
