Thanks for watching - There's been a cliff fall above the beach at the start of the path from Bay Road, Clevedon , so bear that in mind for access. Work has started on repairs but there may be a path diversion in place

@@fishingat, yes, I have seen that, it's fairly minor in the scheme of things, compared to fishing on the slippery rocks, but health and safety prevails. I don't think it has any real effect on the spot you were at, except that the access to the beach for the locals is being managed while they build new metal ski resort style steps (they've put some of it in place at the bottom).

Thanks, helps when the fish come in and the weather is nice. A mark I fished a lot during covid with not much luck. Better on neap tides as the pull is wicked on bigger tides .

Thanks for watching. Like buses / taxis , nothing comes then a load arrive together. Blonde rays showing at the mark as well , so another trip is in order !! (Watch Dean Booker - veals mail order, unless you follow him already ... He fished the mark a few days earlier and caught some great fish)

Paid approx £300 for the tournament , £200 for the Saltist. Prefer the tournament - better sensitivity, more ' give' on the cast and generally has a better action. Find the Saltist very stiff in casting and bite detection - however , great for bigger leads / baits and retrieving bigger fish. However, I'd go for the tournament again , if I had too, as generally suits my fishing / casting style better ... hopes this helps
