I fish at Lilstock on the North Somerset coast on Wednesday 31/1/24.
Fishing pulley pennel (S1 to 3/0) and loop rigs (S1) I use yellow tail lug, ragworm , squid , mackerel and anchovy baits. With chance of thornback rays, a cod and conger eels , it's a popular mark with reefs to fish at low tide and from the big pebbles as the tide floods . Lots of different options
Hopefully the drone footage at low water shows what features there are
Tide was 2.2 to 10.1 M on the Hinkley point scale and I fished 3 hr down and 3.5 hr up . Where I fished , I had about 70 yards of large pebbles in front of me when I finished. You need a good cast / rotten bottom rig if fishing higher tides
Action picked up once it got dark , with a few bites showing.
Parking is in a small parking area (FOC) but the access road if in a pretty poor state , with large potholes, so be careful if you are in a car
