Thanks for watching and the great comment. Hope you make it to Perch Rock, it's a great venue for catching thornback rays.

@@garethwilliams3333 Thanks Gareth I do as well the beaches I fish are on the holderness coast Withernsea, Hornsea,Tunstall ect about 1hr 20 minutes drive but an extra 20 minutes on top i can travel to perch rock. I've been targetting rays for a while with no success maybe I can't get fishing on the right moon phase and right conditions and I'm no power caster but been practicing the OTG. I've watched many videos of ppl fishing there with good results, so Ive put it on my venue to fish list thanks again and tight lines 👍🎣🎣🎣

I would recommend fishing Perch Rock on bigger tides, this allows you to get into the channel with just a normal cast, I arrive about 4 hrs before low so by the time that I have set up it's approaching 3 hrs before low. Fish either in front of the green bouy or to the left of it when targeting rays. By fishing the bigger tides that will take care of the moon phase. Always fancied fishing the Holderness coast for codling.

@@garethwilliams3333 Thanks Gareth yeah I've been told to fish slightly left of the green buoy as to the right can be quite snaggy. When the time comes for us to make our trip I'll check tide times and size 9f tide then I'll know it's the perfect conditions. The holderness is fishing OK after these storms even on the river Humber, a guy went down last week for a couple of hours catching whiting then he turned to talk to someone on the shingle and his rod just lunged over resulting an nice 5Ib codling on black lug, hope you get to fish on the holderness coast there are many good venues filey brigg one of them tight lines and thanks again for the info 👍
