How's it going m8. Was wondering if u ever fish the lower bann? Like from Toome eel farm down to New Ferry? I'm looking a bit of advice 😁

Hiya, yes I’ve coarse fished the lower Bann quite a bit but not regularly for pike. I’ll try and get a piking trip there soon. I did make a video at toome about float fishing for pike. Should mention that In addition to the DAERA licence you need a permit from the Honourable Irish Society. With the tackle shops closed you can contact their office [e-mail].

@@TruesdaleTV Coarse permit Season £40 8 consecutive day rod £20 that’s for each rod though... the Bann has some great coarse fishing. Can’t wait to try piking it

@@pikingadventures2872 I have a game licence so I can use one game rod or one course rod at any one time. So can i just buy the permit and use one rod?

@@TruesdaleTV not sure what the deal is with Game licences but if you want to fish for pike the DAERA coarse licence covers you for 2 rods on the public angling estate. To fish the lower Bann for pike then in addition to the DAERA coarse rod licence you need a coarse permit for each individual rod you plan to use. If you’re only using one rod for the pike then one permit would do. If you give them a shout by email they usually answer pretty quickly. Let me know how you get on too! Thanks for watching
