Are there any golf courses lakes that you’ve been wanting to try or where they might allow you to fish? Might be some biggins’ at Butterfield or the Coronado Country Club?

I actually jumped into the golf course in country club and I saw some carp but that was it until I got kicked out...I wish there we're some that were private so I can fish them

Guy, what glasses are you using? I have a pair of uv polarized but I don't see half the bass that you see in the water

I'm not going to lie to you I think these are convenient store sunglasses...my boy Oscar has Oakley polarized glasses and he says those are great... but mine are like $15 polarized glasses

I have a very important question. I used to fish Ascarate back in the 60's as a kid. I returned recently after 40 years. I went to Ascarate to fish but it seems the lake is very shallow. Do you know if it has ever been dredged? I threw my line in and my line hit bottom almost immediately. I have heard that the lake has had problems with algae bloom. Now that tells me that the lake is very shallow. Thanks fellow fisherman.I fished quite a lot in the Dallas area lakes ie. Lake Ray Hubbard , Grapevine lake and White Rock lake. I caught bass 7lbs to 8lbs in Lake Grapevine.

Appreciate the comment and question, I was fishing with a buddy of mine and he ran his depth radar up and down the lake and he said it's 7ft deep at its deepest...I thought the deepest was at least 15ft, ascarate had a fish die off in the big lake that killed everything, about 2 years ago they stocked it last year again with bass, catfish, trout... and bluegill

@@envyfishing5676 Thanks for the quick response. 7ft is too shallow for any lake. I am upset El Paso has not dredged Ascarate Lake. I will be calling the city to hopefully find some answers.Thanks again. You know actually I am surprised they haven't combined the large lake and the small lake.
