Thank you for making the crappie video. It reminds me of being a kid out on the lake in my Grandfather's bass boat with my little brother. I appreciate it.

I agree with Jeremy Davis who left the note. More crappie videos! Love your content so much. You’re the reason I got into crappie fishing and rainbow trout chasing. Now they’re my favorite! Thank you for what you do.

Love your videos and a fan for a long time. But unpopular opinion: I feel like fishing with technology like live scope is like hunting over a pile of corn with a 300 Ultra Mag at 10 yards. Nothing wrong with it, but in my humble opinion, takes away from the roots of fishing and getting out there using what has been taught to you looking for certain marks. Thats just my .02c

Justin there nothing better to eat then a good old catfish and some crappies on the big dinner plate for sure!!! I’m definitely ready for my plate to be filled with both with some good old fried asparagus also for a good side of some greens!! I’d definitely be letting them gar swim by my baits for sure!!! I’m glad we don’t have many of those in my area!! But I do wish that we had some much bigger crappies for sure!!! Lol!!

I love blackened catfish. Cooked on a cast iron griddle with lots of butter. They need to be wild caught because farm raised don't work. I like this video because he tells us the depth he is picking up fish. I would have expected the fish to be deeper this time of year. Also this guy isn't selling fishing tackle but shows us how he caught fish. I don't have live scope( too expensive) but I fish a lake similiar to Fork with lots of flooded timber. Pre spawn crappie tend to be aggressive and fat.

@dennisrobinson5998 Жыл бұрын
I know exactly what you mean when you ask how a 2' fish can look like a crappie. I worked for more than 5 minutes on what I thought was a very large crappie hugging a tree & when I finally caught it it was an 8# walleye! I think you are right, it depends on which way they're facing.
@HughButler-lb6zs Жыл бұрын
With sonar, what you see on your screen is the signal that is being returned to your unit. The signal should never look like the target, because it does not penetrate the target. You are simply seeing silhouettes. That's always been my objection to seeing fish on sonar because you don't know what kind of fish you are seeing until you catch them.I am surprised he is catching the gar because I have never caught them on artificial baits.

Man, I was at my sisters in Ottawa last week. I nailed 90 crappie in 3 days (30 per day) to make crispy’s and fill her freezer with fish (stocked her up on cats, pike, trout, and brought her sturgeon and Striped Bass from home on the east coast). I processed and vac sealed enough perfectly cut filets to last her till winter. The Crispy’s were incredible, as usual.
