Back at Canyon lake to do some yellow bass fishing. It's another attempt at the fill the cooler challenge. It was a lot of fun catching a bunch of yellow bass and I really enjoy eating these fish too. We caught all our fish on a Blade bait and a small crank bait. The blade bait we used is the Cabelas Mean Eye blade bait in the Chrome/black back color 1/4 oz size and the crank bait was the Bomber F3 Fat A. It has been nice to have some fish hit so consistently in the dog days of summer. Yellow bass are one of my new favorite species to fish.
