Fishing Chesil beach with a special guest!

It just so happens that I had to travel to Bristol for work, and with the bank holiday pending, it just wouldn't have been right for me to turn down a chance to venture to Chesil.
Ade and I have been in touch for a while now. In fact, we both fished the euros but never got a chance to meet up. So when I knew I'd be on his turf we set a time and place to meet. and the rest as they say,is history.
Fishing this time using the Any Fish Any Where GB FS Pro rods, Penn Spinfisher 5500lc and 7500lc, Berkley Whiplash braid. Rigs produced by Mike's Rigs in Hull. And bait provided by reel fun in Portishead Bristol.

The only thing I can say in the words of the great prophet D:Ream- "things can only get better." Looks like an amazing place to fish or as some might say one of the best places in the country but not on that day lol. A few years back I had some ragworm in the spare fridge in the garage but the fridge broke and you should have smelt them. I've never smelt anything like it, 50 times worse smelling than dead lugworm and my Mrs socks. Best of luck on your next session buddy.

I may well be about to find out. Almost certain I had a spare wrap of rag, which I've left in the back of the van, and I'm currently in tunisia for a week. Do I need to start shopping for a new van do you think? 😅

It's going to be real bad so you will need a mask. As you are in Tunisia there's one excursion that takes you out to the desert who they filmed Star Wars. Where Luke was growing and where the Sand People lived. When I went there it was a camel ride, have a great time and all the best to your Mrs and little Jack, oh and it's raining here.

Eh up Alex, just back from my second blanking trip of the year to Filey . On Saturday morning there were hundreds of dead crabs washed up at the south landing area and on Sunday numerous jellyfish , I think the water is acting strange this year, I didn`t face the Brigg this time , fished off the wall , that`s 5 blanks in a row up the east coast since the end of June , starting to get a little discouraged but having seen how your doing recently I know I`m in good company 😃 going to Windermere at the end of the month with a bloody trawl net 🤣

Great vid as always. Its honest fishing blanks and all, just as it should be.👍🏻 On the matter of colour, we have so much mud, clay and sand on the east coast, you're right we see that and would think the worst. On the subject of doggies, I've not had one all year either and at one point we'd have been plagued all summer, just like whiting from Autumn to spring. Llyn peninsular next week for a week for me. See if I cant winkle out a huss, conger or if I can get the spin rod set-up in time a bass or pollock from the rocks. Any hints/tips???

I'd be on the deep rock marks with feathers looking for some fresh mackerel mate. Then bug heavy pennel rigs with 150lb hook lengths in case there are tope knocking about to get hold of your fresh fillets. I'm not jealous at all 😅😫

Sausage is usually good for dogging 😂😂. The Dogfish will move back in shore come October in numbers I'm quite happy if never see one again to be honest

Careful of which car parks charge and what times they charge. No camping on the beach, and areas around the bird sanctuary are closed off at certain times of the year. I think that about covers all the restrictions in place specific to chesil. Then you have the usual size limits for keeping fish too.

The way this summers fishing for me I couldn't shoot a fish in a barrel. Hopefully that means I'm in for a good winter though 🤞🏼
