I live in Naples,FL and just recently found your site. I have thoroughly enjoyed your upbeat channel and your very savvy fishing abilities. I am a Florida native, lived in Naples since I was 6 whenMy parents moved to Naples. I have fished all my life (I’m 74) and like you, I love my snapper. I always look forward to your sign off of thanking the Lord for everything he’s done for us. That’s what drew me to your channel

Love to eat triggerfish... my vietnamese buddies Dad used to wrap them in foil whole. Guts n all! Throw em on a bbq pit. Then pull the foil off and skin off the fish. It cooks in its own juices.. pick the meat out and put it in a bowl. Then we grabbed those spring roll wrap things and dipped em in fish sauce to get em wet. Then fill it up with the smoked trigger fish and the veggies! Words fail to describe how fresh and good that was.

@@nicksmith2194 are you talking fishing charter? if so that's good info, I said something about the dolphin charters but I myself never used them and have no interest in it, but a fishing charter at a good price is most certainly interesting!!

@@R0NE100 yes, fishing charter. They're the cheapest I've found on the Gulf coast..... until I retire and move to Foley, anyway. Lol

New here and enjoying the show. Gey snappers are tasty indeed. Big fan of 20-24ft center consoles. You can get a bar and clamp that protects the rod from the rail. Tuna fishermen on the west coast use them to reduce fatigue on big fish in deep water.

I've the same outboards on both my gulf boats, two on one, one on the other, with a spare in the shed. Found it at the dealer as a trade in and had it gone through and stashed. Friend led me to do that. He's into the old 90 Yamaha 2 cycle for his 20' Key Largo, afraid they'll all disappear so he has two extras in his garage. The type that says it's the only motor he'll own, hang everything up when he can't be using one. Hope you're back out there soon!
