In the '60's-70's we used to catch perch on that pier and farther down to south near that oyster bed/beach.

What size weight you were using I usually use 8oz pyramid but feel like is to much for that spot
@Bank.Fishing Жыл бұрын
We prefer to use 4 or 5oz max. Yes,like you say 8oz is just a little to much
@troyrussell1774 ай бұрын
we use 3 ounce down here in nj. Unless there’s a strong current I bet 3oz will do the job there too but🤷 4 or 5 is probably the right answer. Just adding my two cents🙏

Do people eat fish from there?
@Bank.Fishing9 ай бұрын
Yes, you can keep your catch if legal size. Some are good eating!

@@Bank.Fishing will the summer time be a good time to fish the pier? I will be in the area in late June and want to try fishing from there. Which is best, low or high tide?
@Bank.Fishing9 ай бұрын
@@bretmoua6983 best time to fish the pier is summer time during incoming high tide. No fishing license is required on public piers🤙🏽
