Fishing for big smallmouth bass , summer, Maitland River

I spend a couple of days fishing for river smallmouth bass in the Maitland river

How do you get access to that spot? I’m looking for spots to take my kids

It will be difficult to take kids to that spot if they are young, I use any access spot like a bridge and then wade the river, not an easy hike, need to be in shape but the effort is worth it to get to good fishing spots.

@@OutdoorsMyLife gotcha, I crossed the menesetung bridge & went down closest to the left under the bridge this weekend. I caught a couple small mouth bass, the kids enjoyed it!

@@Triggerhappylol There is almost always fish near bridges, a good place to take kids fishing. Benmiller is another place you might like to try
