I find the brooders are in the creek by Waverly, going up to swan lakes. Caught a 28” in there.

Just discovered your channel. I'm local to the Portland area but sounds like you're around the Salem to Albany area where I sometimes visit. I pretty much exclusively fish for bass despite never catching one. I have a few videos up with no catching success. Any tips on how I might improve my catching chances? Are craws red here, and do they work? I did finally get a bite on the Willamette in Independence off of the black whopper plopper.

Just wanted to add your Willamette small mouth video was the first video a saw recommend to me through the KZbin algorithm as I had recently been looking for local smallmouth videos. So that's that's what got me here, watching some more of your content. Great work, and keep it up.

Thank you 🤙. It's kind of hard to beat the classic bass lures around here. Senkos, curly tail grubs, jigs. Here in about a month, if this weather holds, it should really start picking up for bass, but the best time to fish for them around this area is in the summer. I do have a ton of videos teaching bass fishing, too.
