Handlining is great. I've tried. Really cool. I pull the line through my left hand, and pull the line with my right. I squeeze my left hand and hold the line put, while I recock my right arm and and hand to pull in another arm's length of line. We used a stripping bucket to hold line. Inexpensive 20lb. mono line did it well for me. Inexpensive J-hooks. We used leather fingerless gloves.

I love this video, great folks having a great time fishing! It also proves all those fancy bass anglers wrong, you don't need thousands of dollars in fishing equipment to have a good time. Even if u don't have a boat you can handline fish from the bank easy.
