That was the most beautiful introduction ever, truly incapsulates what stream trout fishing is, with a Japanese twist! I really share his love for the jdm industry being brought over, some day I yearn to have a job like his, bringing people the art through video editing and photography, while being a founder of the mission to bring jdm here! I would love to bring over area trout!

Isn’t area trout basically stocked rainbows ?
@12345B10 ай бұрын
@californianativeangler8591 correct! With few exceptions (area trout zones between rivers that get the occasional wild fish) They also have stocked ponds with char, yammamae, brown trout, and big salmon! These cost much more to enter. Area trout fishing in japan is some of the toughest fishing, because these stocked trout are often in the same pond for months at a time, only CNR, no touching fish, so each fish has generally been caught alot, and fooling such a conditioned fish is extremley hard, expecially when limited to only spoons or hard baits in many areas. It gets really deep into the weeds, all the way to simple things like line choice and lure color/weight/shape, to extremley technical things such as having different bearings in the line roller to change the position a lure swims in the water, and to change actions also. Based on your name I see you are from California, they have lots of fun areas to try, both natural and area! Be mindful if you do take intrest, there is a reason there are wild trout fishing setups and area trout system setup, wild trout setups can be dually used, but my area trout setups are not as flexible sadly, natural fish have horsed me places I did not wish them to go!

Love this trout fishing series! Reminds me of my own creek fishing antics growing up. Unfortunately I don't have access to creeks like this where I currently live, but clear-water creeks and light tackle is by far my favorite kind of fishing!

I'm determined to catch one on a bass popper. I put smaller hooks on many of my bass and walleye lures because I seem to just catch tons of trout instead. Good for me they're good eating and no size limit. I never catch keeper walleye or bass.

This has been a fun week!! I need a wet wading gear video. The shoe options, pant options (really to help with not getting bit by ticks in Ohio), socks, etc. Not sure if you guys sell waders but that would be cool too. Also, I love all the expensive stuff, and I will buy it whenever I can, but I need more super budget options and hacks when they’re around. Thanks for putting in all the effort!!🍻

You should give Tiemco Red Pepper Micro a try. I've gotten some of the most explosive top water actions in simular streams you're fishing. I wish The Hook Up would consider carrying Tiemco trout lures, they are amongst some of the top JDM lures out there.
