The beauty of that place is beyond words. And to be wading in while you’re trying to land a quality fish is dream material. Fantastic video.

Love the sportsman bay boat, we currently charter our 2023 26ft sportsman with a 425. Almost 500 hours, the sportsman has had 0 problem. Unlike our 26 sea cat that seams to always be in the shop. Sportsman has quickly become my fav mid 20's boat.

Anyway, i didn't have a chance but i wander, since you are Zenaq user, is that rod strong? I don't know drag power because i can't find rod spec's anywhere!!! Thanks!

you guys are going to need sealed reels if that water gets any deeper 2:30...
@bradmmorton23 күн бұрын
Saltist is one of the best sw sealed reels
@Peter-zg3em23 күн бұрын
@ no brother, it’s not even close to a true surf reel. Van staal and zebass can be reeled underwater.
@bradmmorton23 күн бұрын
@ yea I have had both they don’t compare to a saltist or Stella, they’re overpriced and to get them serviced is so much hassle you might as well buy a new one
@Peter-zg3em23 күн бұрын
@@bradmmorton guy you don't know what you're talking about if you think a stella has better seals than a van staal. i'm not talking about the performance of the reel. line lay, smoothness, drag, cranking speed, all better on a stella or saltiga. i'm talking about how well the reels are sealed. there's no comparing the two. go reel your stella in the waves for 100-150 days out of the year. you'll need a new one before the season is over. you just don't need a van staal and that's fine. if you were constantly in chest deep water with breaking waves and sand in the wash, you would. but you're not. so shhhh lil bruh
@bradmmorton23 күн бұрын
@ I fished striper for 300 days last year and a penn battle held up only serviced it once, you’re telling this guy he needs a fully sealed reel on a boat when he sometimes gets in waist deep water with 0 swell and the splashing of waves does little to nothing to a reel van staal just tells you it does so you spend a fortune on their reels. I bought one and only used it to do underwater fishing and after that it still locked up a bit and I had to spend $150 to ship to to the Midwest for them to fix it
