This fishing trip was a success. I caught more fish than Chelsie, and I pretty much caught a Pike.

@@Hamberder-jc6tw Yes but luckily I've never hooked her. She's a lab though so she loves water, and she loves to stand in the water and fish. And when she was younger she even caught some decent size fish. And since her breed was breed for hunting, she never injured the fish shen she caught them.

MRP 1014 I cleaned a 26 incher yesterday and got a soup bowl full of boneless meat. Fillet them just like any other fish and then cut off boneless sections until youre left with only bones and skin

I know you are a plug/crank bait guy, but when it comes to pike, try a Mepps Cyclops (spoon). Northern Pike love them up here in Ontario. This sounds like it would be very complicated, but what if you made a Cyclops knock-off out of plastic (maybe a collaboration with Epic Baits?.?...) Love your channel! Keep'em coming!

I love pike! That’s all I target when I go out! I would recommend using a leader when you go after them toothy dudes. I would hate to see one of those badass lures get stolen by one feisty pike. I have lost a few lures by not using leaders. Pike have no problems with eating bass lures too by the way, trust me on that! Great video dude!

If you're looking for pike, try out the mouth of the Prairie creek just above the dam on the SE side. That place holds a bunch of large ones around the bridges.

Okay let me get things straight, idk how you Americans fish for pike but here in the Netherlands you really should use steel/titanium leaders, Pike easily snaps through your fishingline, even though when it's braided... Idk if European pike is more aggressive/bigger or anything but maybe you should use leaders the next time? I never use a wire ever it messes the action up and have caught well over 300 pike with no lures ever broke or cut only time is if I use a hook and work otherwise spoons they bite the end with the hook that's away from the line same with rapala original floater size F11 never lost 1 from pike

Walleye are sometimes referred to as walleyed pike, so since you didn't specify northern pike, one could argue that Chelsea caught a pike. It's great that she enjoys fishing. I could probably talk my girlfriend into going fishing, but she'd be miserable and in turn make me miserable.
