Firstly, congratulations on the new addition to the family! I am sure she will become an avid fisherwoman with both parents into the sport! As you guys are busy with her these days, just keep watching the vids...lol...and then when she is ready start carrying her out! Thanks for watching and I appreciate the support!

It would be cool if you could give us a closeup and brand/type of lures you're using in each video. I'm always interested to know what's working in Trini waters. Great vids, thanks for sharing the fun!

Logan Tang Thanks bro! I really should have done the close ups...But I did put some links in the description of the video with the lures that i caught them on...Check it out. Thanks for watching!

Kos.. 2 questions. 1. You use mono or braided? 2.When you using your lures. You tie direct or swivel. Thanks
@KoSMTT6 жыл бұрын
Hey bro...I use a mixture of mono and braided.....My first preference is still mono....And that's what I use on most of my inshore set ups...When tying lures, I almost always tie directly to the leader....I try to use as little hardware as possible...But again this will vary on the type of lure or type of fishing that you are doing.

Good afternoon I love your channel! I just wanted to know what color crystal minnow have you had the most bites with throughout the Caribbean? And what size spoon is being in this video?
@KoSMTT4 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! Appreciate it! In general, we have had the most success with the red head crystal minnow....caught all kind of fish with it. the spoon was a 20gram.
@syyed90367 жыл бұрын
hey Kos M, I ordered the 3 1/2" Yozuri Crystal Minnow from the link above. Just curious, what size do you use? thanks!
@KoSMTT7 жыл бұрын
Syyed Hosein I use that same size...3 1/2 inch is the most allrounded size...You can catch anything on that! And well red head is my fav!

Can you give me the specs of your line? Pound, Brand, Rod Length, Hook Size, I see you casting and it looks like you have no sinkers. Line looks light!
@KoSMTT7 жыл бұрын
Hey bro, when using artificial baits (lures) you don't need sinkers...The trick is to use light enough line on a light enough rod to get enough distance over and over...My usual set up is between 10 - 12lb test, on a 7ft rod...I have all of the links in some of my previous vids (will put the links to those vids for you below). My favourite lure is a DOA Cal with a 1/4 oz jig head...If using bait with hooks and sinkers, you will need a slightly heavy line, depending on where you are fishing, so you can use heavier sinkers...Where do you usually fish, I can try to help you out...
