My parents show me their secret spot for sucker fishing that is only good for 2 weeks out of the year. They use the meat for canning and smoking. I just go along to do a little catch and release.

Very nice to see your parents. I know they are good people because of the son they have raised. Thanks for sharing your afternoon with us. I could watch a video of you painting your house and I would still enjoy it. Your fun laid back personality makes people feel good and it’s no wonder your channel has exploded. With all the garbage on tv and the internet, it’s really great to see a young man like yourself, producing wholesome and uplifting videos. Carry on Posa, you’re doing a great job!

When the picture of the stream popped up, I had dejavu. I thought of the pond my Dad would take me to in my preteen years. Although we lived in the city, a 45 min walk/hike brought us to a wood area the kids used for swimming and fishing. One day I caught a bullhead and wanted to bring it home to show my mother. I carried it home in the brown paper bag that we had brought our lunch in. It spent a few hours swimming in the bath tub until my mom came home. Those little hikes and fishing with Dad are some of my best memories. I realize now how great it was to be Daddy's little girl. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of your relationship with your parents.

So nice to see family in your videos. I buy $20.00 polarized sunglasses. My husband used to call them fishing sunglasses, they had some famous fisherman's name on them. Same type that I buy to this day, just different brand I was amazed at the ability to see the fish in the water.

I absolutely loved seeing your Mom and Dad! Your Dad's instructions were just so wonderful to hear! I've been wondering how amazing your parents must be to make such a strong, patient, inquisitive, persistent, smart, capable son! They should do instructional videos on how to raise children, for sure!

It's so nice to get a midweek video to watch before work! It's nice to see your lovely parents out there with you! I ate my first catfish ever last week because I had a stigma against eating bottom feeders, but I'm glad I did because it was good! I love fishing, hunting, and camping as well! It's so therapeutic! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!

I grew up fishing on Crooked Creek and the Buffalo River in the small mountains of NW Arkansas. Started fishing when i was 4 and fishing the creek by myself when i was 5. Have caught many many many suckers, carp, Smallmouth bass and perch of all kinds on the creeks and rivers around my home. Your parents are cool and have done a fine job rearing an awesome human.

A mid week video, what a nice surprise. Nice to meet the parents. The underwater footage was cool. Can't believe you've never been sucker fishing before. We always fished the rivers and streams in the spring in sw Michigan, never knew what you might catch. We also used to walk the creeks at night with a lantern and spear them. Brings back memories. Thanks for another great video.

Interesting to see you fishing for suckers during the spring run. Where I grew up in Tennessee, we would head to the creeks as soon as the dogwoods started blooming and gig suckers. They were often, without exaggeration, as big as your leg. I always loved sucker gigging. The only downside was they have a lot of small bones.

When a kid in Sheboygan Wisconsin in the 1950s we always looked forward to the Lake Michigan Lake Sucker run up the Sheboygan River usually during March. Lake suckers are big and suckers though a bit "boney" are good eating out of cold water. Later when the river turns warm and muddy, forget it!!

Hey Posa, nice video. My mom was born in Merriweather Michigan in her grandmothers house right on the shore of Lake Gogebic. Her dad as a logger and ran out of work on the UP so they packed up and moved to North Idaho. We still have a lot of family in Michigan and my grandparents went back to visit every year. One year they brought back some smoked sucker, I was raised on smoked trout and landlocked salmon so I wasn’t impressed. It tasted to muddy for me. My family swares by it though. Here in lake Pend Orielle we get big ole suckers three feet long, nobody fishes them. Trout, bass, walleye, and Kokanee Salmon are the focus. Fish on
