Wow. Mr Crabtree Goes Fishing was my first angling book as a kid in the 60s. And that reel he showed was my first reel. A Black Prince I still have tucked away somewhere. So many wonderful memories.

innocent days when millions fished ,gentle folk enjoying the solitude ,,and nature fishing in the country,,thankfully they are missing the mess our governments are making ,because of over population we have sewage rivers and unsafe places ..dirty rivers,are what we have now..to many toilets not enough rivers,,if only we could go back in time,,now where is my centre pin and peacock float,,
