Fishing for Trevallies in Mauritius using the bombarda rig. Pêche à la Carangue à l'île Maurice.

I have been back fishing and the trevallies are in feeding frenzy mode. I have released many and kept a few for the table for the traditional Mauritian New ywar's day fish soup.
Since my friend passed away a few years ago, I rarely take fish for the table. I practice catch and release. When we were fishing together, new year's eve and new year's day, we use to fish this exact spot for a traditional 'Gajack'. These were the days.....
