Just made the kiddos dinner and I see a new Gido video. Can’t think of a better way to chill out and hang with the kids than watching some adventurous fishing/ climbing/ bouldering videos with the man the myth the cliff scaling legend Gido. Another amazingly beautiful spot.

Gido, it appears to me you need to auction off a fishing hook or lure you used to catch a prized catch. Id buy a raffle ticket or 2 maybe 3, to support you & your awesome adventures. To raise enough $'s to buy a new recording system. Gopro seems to be failing. Gido you Rock

Have caught a number of Queenies as a d/hand, commercial fishing, skipper advised check their guts/stomachs (they eat/love cowrie shells). Sometimes you'll find the cowrie shell still in good nick with the owner/inhabitant dissolved but shell ok, always a bonus to find a pretty shell.
@gidosfishingadventures2 ай бұрын
Yes I’ve heard that, so I had a look. Didn’t find anything this time

Love that prawn bait! Who makes them? I'm glad to see you brought more rope. You made me nervous when you set your rod down against the cliff façe to unhook the herring... I've regretted setting down an untethered rod. The ocean rarely gives up the rods she takes.
@gidosfishingadventures2 ай бұрын
Yes it was quite the awkward location to fish and keep the rod from falling in. The prawn bait is from irukandjitackle.com

Gido keep meaning to ask over all the epic brush busting you n Dano have done have you had any close calls with the friendly neighborhood snakes you've got down under we don't get to many where I'm at as we're on the minus 40 temps they don't like it I'm not to keen either but no snakes. All the best mate n keep your stick on the ice!
@gidosfishingadventures2 ай бұрын
Very rarely see snakes. I think it’s because we have heavy backpacks so we move slowly and heavy footed most are gone before we see them
