When we discovered Gidos channel, lil’ over a yr + ago, we started binge watching ALL of his past videos. In 1 of his videos he showed where there were some old drawings carved rock slab. Twas in a very remote area but drawings weren’t located in a cave. It definitely made 1 think about past inhibits for sure. Love Gidos channel. I think I remember him saying he saw evidence of others on occasion. He is not the only rock climber. He for sure said he did not ever scratch his name in the rock or anything like that, meaning leaving an intentional ''I was here'' sort of thing.

As always thanks for taking us with you. New story for you. Back in the day. ( late 70s) I was fishing one of my favorite ledges when my rope came down for a visit. At first I was pissed thinking that I had done a crappy job with my knot. I was contemplating my route back up when I heard the unmistakable sound of an arrogant eco-worrier. 🤣🤣🤣. " I have called the police and rescue, you are going to have a huge bill for wasting their time". I was going to stay on my ledge and wait for them to arrest him for attempted murder. My ledge would be underwater at high tide. Only two feet but there is not any protection from the waves. Decided to climb out instead. It is about an hour and a half climb with rest stops. I was thinking if I could get away with throwing him off the cliff using self defense as my reason. About two thirds of the way up he noticed that I was climbing out. He started kicking dirt and rocks down on me. He used some colorful words to go along with the assault. I kept silent and just continued to climb up. I look younger than my age of 16. His woman started yelling at him to get back in the car. It seems she is the brains of the outfit. He decided to give me a lecture on eating meat and how evil it is, so I got close enough and hit him with a right elbow. He went down and the look on his face when his brain reconnected with his body was priceless. He scrambled back to the car and they gunned on out of there. I got there plate number and waited for the police. I new I would get a ticket for climbing down the cliff. but I knew they would get into more trouble than I. I told them my story and said I would press charges. They decided to plead guilty and we both dropped assault charges to avoid trial. I have better things to do. One of the Police Officers told me that I had broken his cheek bone. Win win. I reside in Northern California and have been dealing with these nuts for awhile. Stay safe.

@@gidosfishingadventures I learned early to never go down a cliff I wasn't able to free climb out of. Ropes can break. I also started to use ten foot chains for my anchor points. CUT THAT!!!

Good job! I was bow hunting for mule deer in the Sandia Mountains above Albuquerque NM and ran into an anti-hunter. I was active duty USAF, I'd just made it to Kirkland AFB in Albuquerque the 2-months prior after losing virtually everything I owned in Hurricane Andrew in Homestead FL. I'd spent nearly $2k on bow, gear & permit and I'd hunted the previous 3 weekends, this, my 4th was my last chance before the season ended. Maybe a half hour before sunset I saw a big beautiful buck standing broadside at maybe 30-yards, I drew and heard, bang, bang, bang, bang, hey deer, run deer, run deer! Mfr had brought 2 cooking pots and was banging them together and yelling! I swung my aim maybe 20 degrees and centered my bow scope on this rabid PETA fk who had just ruined my hunt, my year, and the only chance I've ever had at a mule deer. I was near the maddest I've ever been, blinding red rage boiled up in me, for a split second I visualized sending a 125 grain 4-bladed broad head straight thru that mfr, then reason took hold, the dude had his kids with him, what an absolute idiotI told him he had best GTFO out of there before I killed him, he turned white as a ghost and scampered off like a scared squirrel. God I was pissed! I didn't actually draw on him, I had let off on the string, but I mimicked being at full draw and he couldn't tell the difference. I'd never have shot him, not unless my life was in danger, but I sure as hell felt like putting an arrow thru his sorry ass!

My heart was racing, palms were sweaty and my legs were getting weaker by the moment when you were scaling out of that cave. I was breathing hard by the time you reached the top of your climb. Then you went back down to retrieve your gear. What an adventure! Indeed this vid was spectacular and entertaining. Catching those fish and enjoying the fresh fish burrito made my mouth water. Nice video! Love a bit of aid climbing at the end too! Would definitely be some gear to make that a little easier (cam hooks for example) if you're doing a bunch of it. But I'm sure you know plenty already! So cool to see more of the climbing/adventure stuff from the fishing guys!
