Yo Mike! I wish you the very best! Sometimes it seems like people are making things up that aren't there... I know it can be tough to film sometimes and I don't think you you're in a "funk" after what happened. Sometimes we have real life stuff going on that an impact our videos so... I don't know! I'm not saying you are in a funk or aren't but just glad to see that you're putting up videos again. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and remember that you are blessed. TRULY. Be thankful for the little things in life and I promise you everything changes. I'm a situation right now where I feel like I literally cannot do any videos and it's killing me but then I remember that I'm thankful to even be able to have a home, wife, family... a camera and rods to go out... etc. Just going through a busy season. Anyway... thanks for putting up videos and telling the world that you DON'T have to be a googan to make youtube videos.

I like how you did a few circles before you threw the back pack haha. and iv had a day like kind of like this I couldn't make it to the lake but I wanted to go fishing. I went to a small river and there was hardly any light. I was tripping and falling every where,when I saw a fallen tree so my smart idea was to get on it to go farther into the water. when I slipped and fell and hit my self between my legs so I recover and keep going and right when I get settled and put my backpack down I get ready to cast when some type of fire tree ants started biting.... I ended up swimming back to shore and calling it a day. I didn't even cast the rod. haha I never went back to the place!

The lucky craft gunfish is a little bit smaller than the Sammy but has very similar action and sits nose up. It's my go to top water bait. Expensive, so try the one made by Boyd duckett because its about half the price

There is a weed that grows near stinging nettles that if you rub on the scratches it will take away the burn. You'll have to google it but I've seen it done before.

mike, what are the specs for that rod your using? long story short I was packing up to go out and fish when I noticed that my topwater setup was missing. either it was stolen or it came out of the back of my truck cause I didn't have anything strapped down like a dummy 🙁 however I had all 6 setups with me that day so I dunno how it would have came out unless it was on top. clueless and upset. anyways that rod has great soft tip and action to it. I go through that every day in Florida minis the jumping over the canal /creek . because their is tons of gators and some are 10 feet 200 to 1000 pounds . a 9 footer had its leg bitten of by a larger gator 10 or above I've crises over a 15 door aligator with a kiak
