After living in Portugal for 3 years (moved from 32 years living/fishing in SoCal) ...it's a comfort to see the top bass pros having the same struggles I have fishing here! Clear, deep, rocky water, very litle cover, sparse baitfish ....it can be very tough going to get numbers and/or quality. Plus, C&R isn't a thing here, and it's legal to net bass for the "river cafe" restaurants ....and they get a lot of the bigs :( ....I now concentrate of smaller lakes/ponds built for irrigation.
