Good video I love st. bernard area, there is a little hotel on that marina with all the shrimp boats near 46 where they host the red fish tournaments. The owner of the hotel is great inviting lady and the hotel could use some improvements but nice scenery and great for sakalay and blue cats. I was born in slidell, I miss home so much the people are great and every outdoor activity is great in the good old state of louisiana as well. Should check out the chalmette battle grounds next time you go out that way it’s the original battle grounds of the battle of new orleans and they still have a plantation home there. Wonderful experience seeing the little museum that’s there too.

The best catch is just like that. My dad and I well me and my dad and my brother used to always go catch the fish we will get them porgies and we'll get some red snappers and we will get some other fish but that was the time to get them. You in my parish lived in Saint Bernard all my life that spot you were fishing you have get fish there qhen we get a really hard coldfront the redfish pile up in there you'll limit out teal quick. If you wanted black drum you should have went to Delacroix its a lot better fishing.

If you want to catch some big red fish in Louisiana You can come to Cameron Parish Louisiana And go to Price Lake road and catch some crabs and big red fish 👍

Go over the Wrigley's bridge and park when you get on the other side by the boat launch and then you come back up the bridge and you get down on the first pair on your left and they have a big concrete round slab that you can walk all around underneath there if you fish right under that bridge you will tear the flounder up

Best time to fish that spot is during or after FREEZING temps which is usually in January. There will be a hundred people along that road with limits of reds VERY quickly!! The shallow water in the marsh gets too cold for them and they move to deeper water. FYI: Redfish creel limits were just recently changed.
