Fishing in Finnmark - Iesjavri

Iešjávri lake is the biggest lake in Finnmark county. Me and some friends go there every year to fish big game, or atleast hope to catch a big fish.
This year I finally got one, not the biggest but big enough so I would smile.
You will see us drive our atv's and one with offroad bicycle. We actually used more than 2 hours to get there, but in this video I have shortened it with the best part of driving and the prettiest nature you can see in this true wilderness at the mountain.
If you don't want to see too much of driving, skip to 11:40 where the fishing begin. But I hope you will see most of it, because the trail is awesome to drive at.
The mountain lodge we drive past, is a checkpoint for Finnmarksløpet (Finnmark dogsled mushing) and Offroad Finnmark (offroad bicycle mountain race).

It is, but better with canoe or boat to get to the biggest catch 🙂

Water patches are hard to go through! Hahaha, the water was too deep for the bike to go through! 😂 You've caught a big pike! How come you didn't want it?!😳🤗

The atv can drive in deep water, but too deep and you can get stuck or get water on the belt so it wont drive anymore and only slip. Most people here doesn't eat pike, it is like not a fish for us 😊 We mostly eat trout and arctic char.

It is a great to fish where you can catch many big fish if you are lucky. The river I drove in had luckily not that water this time that is use to have during mid summer. Thank you for commenting and watching.
