Wow I must be getting old . I fished many days on the Victory when Mike was the guy on top of the bait tank throwing 1's and 2's and George was Captain. Late 70's early 80's.

We had to be on a few together. Remember George used to throw those newspaper floats as a guide to back down on the spot.

Last year was sunny and hot as heck this year I did good in june,, funniest place to catch a 21 inch calico bass was at Grissom island in long beach lmao was was surprised but it was overcast out side and that helps ya the sculpin were slamming in June just outside the breakwater wall in june.

@@DerrickVan we went out a mile pass the breakwater wall and nothing used swim baits used squid mackerel and zip, the waters this year are much warmer this time than last year, and this year was cooler this time than last year, maybe el nino?? I'm just waiting for September 28 opening of lobster season
