Does naples have good access to the gulf with kayaks? Also what to expect nearshore maybe 2-3miles out?
@FishingBooker2 жыл бұрын
Hey there, thanks for watching! Yeah it sure does, Rookery Bay is perhaps one of the best access points where you can catch tons of Red Drum, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, etc. The Ten Thousand Islands is another a great spot to check out. Let us know if you need any other info! 🎣

I live here in Naples, this is absolutely B.S., It’s Geologically the worst place in the state to fish, I leave Naples to fish, 2 hrs East to Miami, 3hrs North to St Petersburg, or 3 hrs South to the Keys Naples sits on a shelf with very shallow water, 50 miles offshore to get over 100ft depths 10,000 Islands & Everglades Isn’t bad for Shallow Backwater only Fishing 🎣 Don’t get me wrong, I can catch fish everyday in Naples, But it’s the Worst place in Florida to Fish !

@@FishingBooker Your talking like I’m the tourist, Are you trying to tell me, Naples is not geologically, The worst place in the state of Florida to fish ? Now with yearly avoidable tragedies like high fertilizer red tide killings You have a choice of dead oyster bar inshore or dead grass weedless Inshore ? 20 yrs ago, All we used to have to do was go to the pier & slay fish all day & even then geologically it was the worst fishing in Florida ! Not anymore Now we see more dead red tide fish on the beach in summer than ever ! Sure we can travel to R Tower or the wrecks but 25 miles For 50’ - 70’ depths, 50 miles For 100’ - 130’ maybe 🤔 depending The 6 new man made refs aren’t populating very quickly, Likely due to red tide ! Amber Jacks are out of season most of tourist season, Offshore: Only Allowed 2 Keeper Groupers Kingfish & Spanish Mackerel, Porgies & Grunts, Lanes & Vermilions, are Basically what’s left 2hrs travel out, “(4hrs Total Fishing time)” 2hrs travel In, = 8hr day = $200 plus crew Tip 4hrs total travel time, 4hrs total fishing time = $200 plus crew tip (I mean, Let’s be Real) A couple years ago a new resident to Naples joined the Naples Fishing Club, He said he just moved from Bradenton, Because his non fishing female cousin told him, That her next door neighbour is a fishing guide & says fishing is the best in Naples, He was rather pissed once he realized how terrible Fishing is in Naples compared to 3 hrs North in Bradenton Where his non fishing cousin convinced him because a lying charter captain said Naples is the place to be for fishing in Florida !

@Ben Ghazi therefore you know it’s the worst fishing spot in the state Unless you’re a desperate for business charter captain, Or your in denial
