Trying a new place, a new pond, for some bigger brook trout I hear about on Newfoundland's west coast

Another great experience. Proves again that fishing is not at all about the fish. It's the apres fishing that makes the trip. Thx for sharing.

Thanks for sharing another wonderful video with us. You've brought back some great memories for me. Cooking and camping by the lake shore, can't get much better than this. Again, thanks for sharing. Stan in Idaho

Found your channel and I must say I really enjoy the content. I really enjoy the simplicity of if, folks like yourself, Justin Barbour, HOTR, etc are amazing ambassadors for the province. In about 20 months I get to retire back in Newfoundland after 31 plus years in the military. My military service has taken me around the world but the one place I miss the most is Newfoundland. I grew up in Deer Lake, hunting and fishing, and I have had to put most of it on hold over my career but summer of 2024 it all begins again. Thank you so much for your videos, they keep me going and I can't wait to get back to roam the forest, rivers and ponds of that great island.

If you had to wait for the rain to stop in Newfoundland, nothing would get done. Lol. Great video.

Great cookout in a beautiful area. Love being in the outdoors when it’s wet out. Everything just seems so quiet
