Congratulations on catching your PB smallmouth. However, It's a better catch and release technique to not drag the fish up on the bank if you intend to release it. Helps survival rates. Nice video 📹 👍

Will they bite on faster lures right now? Rat l traps, jerkbaits, chatterbaits, etc?

Idk exactly but I've been catching them on the bottom and jerkbait is always a good choice in the cooler months

I think they're in prespawn drag some plastics on the bottom and have a topwater rod on hand
