Need to throw a fluke style bait with 1/8 ball jig head. They’ll chomp on that and its easier to unhook compared to treble hooks

You're supposed to put the lip gripper on the scale first, then zero it out to get an accurate weight. He zeroed the scale then weighed your fish with the lip gripper attached. Newbies!

They are chasing smaller fish . If you are using the 98 espetit . Change it to the 70 if you have it. Or go 3 inches swimbait with a jig head. You got it much the size of what they are eating. Or chasing is is shad then go for a shad profile lure . Like a small glide bait. I am telling you that's how I catch my big striper.
@TheFishCatcher27 күн бұрын
70 size is good ive caught many bass with it and matching the hatch usually works at most lakes i just kept using the 95 because it's easier to cast and has better distance

Yeah Boi lol. Such great action. Love those P-5 Destroyer rods. I have almost the same setups. I got the shimano anteras DC on the Tachyon Shaft, X Bites, Dark Sleeper, and ICBM and my spinning rod is the Kiresame Kameyama with the shimano Vanford 2500. That ICBM is amazing for long range shore casting. Such Dope Videos, nice job. 🦨🥊 🦨 🦨 🦨 🗑️ 🔥 👍🏻 💪🏻 🤙🏻

Are they still biting like this at this time "of the year"
@christianmannix339228 күн бұрын
Try to twitch the spook a little slower. In saltwater here in Massachusetts the stripers love the lazy action of a big spook knocking back and forth nice and slow. It makes it an easier meal for the stripers and lets them expend less energy chasing after it. Im sure if it works in saltwater it would work in freshwater too. Good luck man
