What a great day on the lake. I have myself been spectacularly unsuccessful there. My buddy caught and released a monster. Good to know they're there. Care to share what you were using?

Definitely using chironomids but have no idea what color - it was four years ago 😊. But I would definitely tell u if I remembered 😊😊

Yep, no loons that day, but I'll take the loons over the wind, cuz you only need to feed them a few before they're full. :-)

@@flyfish-bowhunt-alberta had a loon this year choke down a 19" trout. Took him a bit, but he got it done.

Really nice fish, big and fat! Lessee, a 22" fat rainbow should weigh about 4 lbs, the 24" would be about 5 lbs, give or take depending on just how fat!

The 22" I caught was thicker than the 24" one Jason caught. One of these days I'll need to get a scale. Check out the Millers Lake video I just posted. Now those fish were THICK!!
