@Nicolas Zemmin if you hook a fish and that fish unspools your line to the point that you can see the surface of the spool with less than 10 yds left, you mind as well consider that line is done. Youre not getting that back.

Ideally that knot should be at bottom of the spool and not in the middle or top. If it rests at top or middle of the spool it might tangle the line while casting.

I agree with you. This is one big ass knot. What I do is tie a few over hand knots, tape it down with electric tape and then spool on the line. I run braid to leader so this method works for me.

Кще толще узел нельзя было сделать?) лично я делаю маленькую петлю на начале лески и креплю на клипсе. После окончания намотки, аккуратно лезвием срезаю петлю от основной лески и убираю с клипсы.

the knot is easy to tie, but you are not using 6 lb mono please show the same knot with 6 lb mono or use an arbor know with 6 lb mono. I know the knot but at my age and bad hands it is not that easy. I have no feeling in my fingers so what do I do?
