My son and I were there a few weeks ago. We camped at the primitive camping area by bullfrog. Since then we bought kayaks and are trying to find our way back to lakepowell soon. It looks like so much fun doing what you're doing. I'd love to be able to go do that often. In fact we want to move closer so we can.

Goodmorning, im a new sub and digging your channel. I live in Beaver and just love Powell. Almost 20yrs ago my friends and I spent hundreds on a really special lure called the Wally Lure. Wally isn't with us anymore but his lead shad lures live on. So glad the lake is on the rebound. Be safe always and thanks for sharing your content. Dan 😊

What I need to do is get up to Strawberry! Is July typically decent up there? Nothing wrong with some MREs!!

Yeah strawberry has been really good for me year round. It’s a fantastic lake for rainbows, cutthroats and Kokanee. I did not get out at all this spring due to my military schedule. Will that being said I have some time to make up on the lake.

we went to Panquitch last thurs. we only catch 5 fish mostly cuts and my buddy did get two rainboats not many people.. next fishing trip will be in my sunlaws ponds 4 big ones seen you next march.

Wow, a rainbow among all those stripers. Amazing. We were at Panguitch a couple weeks ago. Fishing is always great there. It was very cold and the may fly pests were there. Powel sure is prettier than Mead. Great video.

could you tell me where i can buy anchovie i live in colorado and cant find frozen anchovie. But I'm going to Lake Powell in August and have already booked a female unit and boat.

You can buy them at Wahweap/Antelope Marina or any gas station in the area..Page Walmart also..presumably.

The gift shop at bullfrog usually has anchovies. Unless I come along and buy them out lol
