No carving needed!
I’ve been thinking about trying this for a while and it worked out better than I thought.

3:15 we'll call that whittling, not carving. LOL Color me AMAZED! The way you used that can is a totally ingenious idea. Testing for hook placement and flattening the eyelets are a couple of things I picked up from this video that I hope to remember for future use. I hope the fish are as enamored as the rest of us. Super job!
