Hi it's nice to see back fishing it looks cold me and John goes out in all weathers and we get blanks but it's the fun getting out there is not much doing at the moment good luck on the next trip out from Dennis and John 👍🎣🐟

As a fellow angler Danielle we all know there is no such thing as the wrong weather. Just the wrong attire. Bollocks with that it was sodding freezing up here on Thursday so hats off to you my dear. Hope you have defrosted OK, see you when it's a tad warmer 😊❤❤

Thanks Shaun I’ve had a few people say the same thing to me, and that’s absolutely fine, I’m not the greatest angler but I really do enjoy getting out and having a go, and if that helps people unwind while watching then that’s a great result all round 🏆👍🎣

Looking at the groyne yesterday as an alternative to the quayside on the north bank but parking seems like a nightmare as the car parks are locked at 10 pm, still might give it a go daytime, getting used to blanking recently.

Nice to see you out again Danielle, the Tyne estuary isn't my cup of tea because it's been ruined by dredgers for the huge ships that come and go. Worth a try after a very rough sea though. These days it's like a fish nursery. People call it sport. Not sporting when the float away when they don't go back. 30+ years ago you could guarantee a couple of double figure fish a week in winter. Still!! Tight lines 🎣🎣

Hi David Yeh it’s not my favourite fishing in rivers, but I was, and still am tired from the lurgy I had over Christmas - it’s taking some getting over. Hopefully I’ll be back on the rocks or a beach this week 🤞

Hiya Hinny, Your tip light holder on the rod tip must have been upside down! The open end must point downwards to prevent the light flying out. DOH ! They can be whipped on with fly tying gear. All the best.

Not even a slug 2 save a blank Danielle 😢 , went out early yesterday (Sunday) caught 3 nice sized tailor, put them into smoker 😊 granddaughter not happy she had 2 work 😢 what is cart u using 4 bait ? .Happy catching from Australia Nick 🇦🇺 😊
