18-19 hours is best for leaving lines in the water mate And the person you set to bring in the deep lines is there to help you drag the fish over the side of your boat but looks like you may have had a small bug due to no animation of the person helping you drag the fish over Also new subscriber keep up the good work with these videos mate

when you ask in the bar for fish tips thy show you were to go to harpun fish sword/tuna ,,, you can deep line right outside the harbors

​@@TheHomeOfEverythingSimulation i whent to were thy said thy had seen the fish and nothing was there, then i tried to ask in different bars about sword/tuna that gave me an ideer of what way those fish migrated towards and i found em,, but darn harpun fishing is not as easy as it looks :D and yeah i do sail out away from harbor to line fish but i did try to see if you could catch anything near harbors

I think from what I remember, you have to get them out of the crew house and put them on your boats.

@TheHomeOfEverythingSimulation I figured it out, they were on the boat but I needed to figure out how to use the crew management menu. Now my problem is low fish population for tuna and swordfish and I can only fish those two lol. I'm doing cargo missions now, over 14NM trip but 50k is 50K lol

Anywhere deeper than 200m, you need to get tips from the bar to help.

@@TheHomeOfEverythingSimulation So the fish finder says tuna, screw that only the drunk guy at the bar can tell you where to catch tuna? I've been playing this game and it blows. I've fished my whole life. this game has too many rules or conditions coded into it. In real life I can take you out, tie a piece of Aluminum foil to a line a you can catch a fish, anything that swims out their will bite. In the game, the fish finder shows you the fish types, the game of course dictates what kind of fish can be caught on what kind of bait using what kind of technique. "Deepline" only Swordfish or Tuna can be caught, using Herring or squid and only on the surface ( but DEEPline ) and only if a guy in a bar told you where to look for said fish. Uh OK. I don't mean to take it out on you. It's just this game is so weird. I've been playing it less than a day and only started playing it because I found one of your videos. My frustration is that if I randomly roam around the ocean and see fish in the deep on my finder and I drop a few lines I expect to pull up all sorts of anything. You know like real life. I hate it when they code in too much control or rules, like there is a syntax or procedure and if you just follow it the results will repeat.
