I took my kayak up to dingo from The gold coast and paddled out to the first rocky outcrop about a km or two from the beach, smashed trout, gts, even a spanno and multiple reefys in a couple of Hours flicking lures . Absolute gem of a place

Sure is mate! We didn’t have the same luck unfortunately, someone up there told us it was due to the coral spawn that was everywhere up there 🤷‍♂️

Great to finally find someone who gives Dingo beach a good plug, the best thing though is that it is usually so quiet, and the locals are so friendly. Is that the Gregory river you are fishing? I didn't know you could drive there, we are planning a run down there in the boat next may. Another thing about Dingobeacch is that it keeps drawing you back, great place to take the kids. Thanks for posting. I'm really enjoying the series.

Hey Mick, yeah mate we are in love with the place, could easily go back every trip, but we like to experience new places. It was Billy’s creek where we fished mate, the Gregory is in the next one but it didn’t fish well, but I have heard it goes off !

Unreal mate, so nice to see familiar places in a video. Born and bred in Prossie, spent 13 years in Brisbane and moved back to Mackay for the fishing. Pretty spectacular and its great to see how much you guys are enjoying it so far. Gods country, hope you ended up with a few red fish in the box in the end.

Hey mate, sorry for the belated reply. We had a 5m bluefin warrior, it was a 2012 model, we loved it, could tend to get a bit wet in 13-15knts crossshore wind but so would a lot of tinnys. It rode very well and punched into a head on see especially well, in a following sea I’d trim the nose up a touch and she loved it, great boat you’ll be a happy man! Thanks for subscribing!
