Hi mate, my wife n I have a home at deepwater qld. We moved from conway beach near dingo beach . Baffle creek nearby just down the road 8kms is full of pristine water. Nice comp every year. The fish and crab here tastes almost as good as hinchinbrook. The videos are always inspiring. Cheers. Drew and Deniss

Yeah I wasn't saying it's not true , I had just never heard it before. When I was up the cape we caught a kite hawk in a crab pot that had come out of water, but he was in the pot, not smart enough to open it and steal the bait, that's amazing and I'd love to see it. Hey guys great videos. Hows the battery set up going after a period of time. Im looking at your set up for a 36v minnkota in parallel with converter and using them as a house for electronics, fridges as well instead of having a separate house. On top Ill have 2 separate start batteries for dual motors with solar. Looking at same supplier so how has it performed and is there anything you would change ?

Your battery setup is fully wicked, I have my setup of 3*135a/h lithiums running as 2*batteries in series creating 24v for trolling motor and 1 lithium at 12v for house. my cranking battery is on its own for output.

It’s 2 years old mate, I really like the sanded alloy look and easy to maintain. As for the electrics, the Sounders etc was done by Aqua marine in Clontarf, and the lithium set up was done by revolution power solutions in Brisbane. Both companies we can highly recommend! Hahaha these ladies are all good till they start catching all the fish mate 😒

Love the vid mate. I’m upgrading my battery setup to suit an 80lb electric motor and have chosen Enerdrives 24v 100 lithium so it’s just one battery instead of 2. They also make a 36v 100 amp which would knock out 2 of your batteries and would save a bit more weight and space. Just food for thought mate! Because paralleling them 3x100amps to make into 36v would still only give you 100amps of battery?

Hi guys we watch every video pretty much since the start. You guys are great fun. I have had a 7.5 Noble Super Vee for quite a while now, and it's time to upgrade the electronics - chart plotters and depths sounders - i had remembered this video some rewatched it.. And now the paint on mine is stuffed....so maybe I need to take what's left off and sand it back. I regret painting but the Noble was my first so you live and learn. Live in Redcliffe and have local knowledge of Aquamarine. Thanks guys - still happy with the electronics? I sometimes think HUmminbird would match my Minn Kota.

Hey mate, Super happy with the elecs, I have had lowrance, Humminbird and now Garmin. My honest opinion is Garmin hands down for the plotter and side scan, and the Furuno 295 for the deeper sounding and picking up new ground at fast speeds etc. I hear of quite a few problems when linking Sounders and troll motors, so I wasn’t to fussed on that.

Hi mate, I love the GT56 it’s awesome. It wont read as clear as my Furuno at speed but nothing will haha, Furuno trans is 2KW in a narrow beam transducer so a lot of power, saying that, the gt56 was reading well doing 21knts in 60m of water offshore a few weeks ago.
