Nice, the Grey Nomad doing the damage. That lumo belly sheen would have looked good in the deepening shadows. Interesting how you were keeping the bait moving quite fast (presumably to stop hanging up). The Junkies have that nice snake action with a quicker retrieve. Do you ever softbait fish from the boat near your landbased spots? Wonder if you'd get the donks there on lures that you get on baits?

Yea mate super shallow So I need to keep the bait moving and I’ve found they quite like the the fast retrieve in the shallows

I’d use a 7 inch if your targeting big snapper bro. Big bait big fish. But you can use any size.
