As one last hurrah, I have decided to go to the Nile Perch Hotspot that was pointed out by some of my subscribers to see if I can beat my personal best Nile Perch. While hoping for a Unique, I am satisfied to a few trophies, common, and young Nile Perch to fill my keepnet as well as my games bank account!

you can catch unique perch with the 8/0 flatspoon or a three way rig with a 11/0 offset hook with a 6 inch ribbed shad a 8/0 jighead works too

@@HawkeyeM at blue crab you can use a 7/0 major popper for uni tarpon and a 5/0 buzzbait with x series nymphs the buzzbait also works for uni permit i usually keep it at the top of the water and use stop and go

Hello, very good channel, great content. Have you ever tried to steer the boat towards the fish after being hooked? I do it in the Amazon, my equipment is low level, so I drive the boat towards the fish, it's easier, it doesn't take as much line

I went to the spot you pointed out with a kayak and was pulling them in nicely with all techniques. It’s easier to reel it in as well. Have you tried it on a kayak?

Crawfish work great for catching the nile perch cause the catfish leave that bait alone whereas the minnows both the perch and the catfish go after them.
