I thought it was patched after many failed attempts. But I can confirm it still works. After many attempts I finally am able to do it with no problem. If you're on playstation as soon as the bobber dips press and hold L2 then press and hold R2. Fish in boat no problem. Ty for the video.

lol took you guys long enough to figure out it works. doesnt matter though, i have literally told so many people what i was doing when they asked how i was filling a bag in 10 mins, even holding their hands they still cant do it, break their lines all the time etc. Hell I have made over 15 million dollars at congo in 3 weeks and i dont fish a lot

Use the rod you get from buying the pack if your not level 75 for the lake. Using this weak of a rod, if they get any distance on you gives you a game breaking glitch that makes your rod flail around like crazy and with flip your boat. Leading you to lose the fish anyway. It did work a few times when they didn't get distance, but also works with the better rods too.
