Small update, if you got the invisible line on one of your rods and use a stronger set-up feeder/bottom rod this monster still bites your other lines aswell. I had a fairly over powered bottom set-up and realed it in within a minute, not really the challenge i found out.

Thanks so much! This helped me get the madeye really quickly. I used a titanium leader and set my line length to 40 inches I think. The first cast I did was a little too far out for the amount of invisible line length, and I had my drag set on the first click, so even though I got a bite within a couple minutes it maxed out my line almost immediately. It broke the leader, so I still had the whole length kf invisible line thankfully. The second cast got nibbles right away and a strike within a couple minutes again, and I was able to fight it a long while before landing it. From equipping the invisible line to landing the fish was less than 20 minutes real time! 😊

Little update, this spot works well, but i would recommend using leader length of 200 cm (about 80 inches), got mine on the first cast. And the invisible line is really weak, so drop down your drag a lot before casting out if you are using a stronger setup

Seriously, no joke, but I had my rod with the invisible line on a rod stand, and while waiting for a bite, I decided to cast out another rod with just a normal line. Well my surprise when that rod (one without invisible line) was the rod that caught the mad eye buffalo. So I caught the max eye buffalo without the invisible line.

After some fails similar to big catfish I had to buy a 8.9lb reel set to 1 notch down on drag and a 7.9lb flouro leader. Only stressed leader to absolute max so worse case that broke. Got him in 10mins. 🙂

I used 13 lb AdvanceTroy rod, 10 lb FeederForcer Advanced Edition Reel and the default line from the mission and it took me 3 real time minutes. 😬

Just completed. I accidentally found a trick. I put the line on one match rod but used a completely different match rod to catch it. I used a Brutus 9’ 10” with a Thunderspin 4500 and X-Series Mono .021 line with a .011 titanium leader with a 2/0 hook and semolina balls. Caught it first cast. Not lying. I had tried many times with another rod setup earlier though.

Yeah you can do that in future monster missions too when you're using bottom rods! Just equip it to a match rod to complete the mission objective and use a better rod to catch the fish :)

This! I was fishing the low grade match rod with the invisa line for 1-1/2 in game hours said screw it and threw it on a rod stand, pulled out my heavy chaser 2/0 hook and Semolina and literally in seconds after first cast at 2:30pm in game(sunny day also) he grabbed it. Not sure how people muscle this guy in on a cheap match rod and reel, he fought pretty good on my bottom and I had a Heavy Chaser Golden Edition with 41# braid and 44# flouro leader. Pole is a 22-56.2# X-Hvy with a Golden Ambusher reel(56.2# drag). Got credit though! Thanks for this wish I would've seen it a few hours ago lol

Rocky Lake for one didn't look like a place where the fish are going to be running off with three hundred feet of line. And Emerald Lake, I might be able to make it a little easier on myself by using the kyak.

I've got all kinda rod set ups..but how do I get my set up with bobber to cast further than 70 ft ( your recommendation was 115 ft conversion from cm/m) do I buy a different reel and telefloat rod? I’m using the imperial measurements in game so will the feederforce 5000 along with the level 15 Nero rod work for the fish the rod has a 12 pound test with the reel has a 9.5 pound drag

for madeye my leader was 60 inches i believe but if your after pikeslasher it hits on a cloudy night early i got mone right at 9:15 38 inch leader by the lilly pads on the dock about 130 feet out is where i got it mad eye hits at twelve i think similar to the dendrofin

Update I fished for 2 weeks using float and same hook doesn't work now put the float rod out there without the intent to catch it on that rod then use a bottom rod with a size #2 hook with the balls and you will get it instantly I just did after re watching this and trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong
